Counselors

Hello! My name is Jozelle Guerra. I am the counselor at Poteet
Intermediate. This is my 2​1​st year with Poteet ISD.  I graduated from
Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2009 with a Maste​r of Science in
Counseling and Guidance.  I am very excited to begin my
f​i​fteenth year as a school counselor.  I ​w​as a high
school counselor ​for 13 years and prior to counseling I taught 4th
grade.  I look forward to working with the wonderful students​,
families​, and staff at Poteet Intermediate.

Why I Became a Counselor:
I became a school counselor because I enjoy helping others. It is a
very rewarding career for me. I love being able to help students get
excited about their future and all of the possibilities that life has to
offer.
