About Me:

Hello! My name is Jozelle Guerra. I am the counselor at Poteet Intermediate. This is my 20th year with Poteet ISD.  I graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2009 with a Master of Science in Counseling and Guidance.  I am very excited to begin my fourteenth year as a school counselor.  I previously was the counselor at Poteet High School. Prior to counseling I taught 4th grade.  I look forward to working with the wonderful students and families this year at Poteet Intermediate.

Why I Became a Counselor:
I became a counselor because I enjoy helping others. It is a very rewarding career for me. I love being able to help students get excited about their future and all of the possibilities that life has to offer.
